1. Veins: The veins of both frogs and humans are alike because both are in charge of taking blood to the heart.
2. Arteries: The arteries of a frog are quite similar to the arteries of a human because they both are responsible for carrying blood from the heart to all the organs.
3. Lower jaw: Lower jaw of the frog helps the frog chew the food. This is similar to the human’s lower jaw because it also helps the human chew their food
4. Gallbladder: A frog’s gallbladder function is to store bile. This is similar to the human because the human’s gallbladder function is also to store bile
5. Kidney: The kidney of a frog and a human is very similar because they both are in charge of filtering the blood. 6. Cloaca: The cloaca of a frog is where all the eggs, urine, and sperm if male are located. This is very alike the cloaca of a human because it also stores eggs, urine, and sperm if male.
7. Spleen: He spleen of a frog function is to store blood. This is similar to the human’s spleen because the human’s spleen function is also to store blood.
8. Pancreas: The pancreas of both a frog and a human’s is to make insulin (aids in digestion).
The tongue is different from the human tongue because, the frogs tongue attaches to the front of the mouth and the the humans tongue attaches to the back of the mouth. The esophagus of the frog is similar to the esophagus of a human because both are located in the center of the mouth and are responsible for taking the food down to the stomach. The stomach of the frog is quite different from a human stomach because first the side a human stomach is much bigger. Also because a frog stomach had tiny hard looking bones that look like beads. The lungs of the frogs are very similar to a human lungs because they require the same way of breathing. Both lungs use the respiratory system in order to breathe and exhale. The liver of the frog is similar to the liver of a human because both help get rid of damaged cells. the heart of a human is similar to the heart of a frog because they both pump up blood throughout the body. The small-intestine of a frog is very similar to the small-intestine of a human because they both breakdown food. They are also longer than the large-intestine. The large-intestine of the frog and a human is different mainly for size. But also because the large-intestine of a frog is located between the small intestine and the bladder. The bladder of a human is very different from the bladder of a frog because a frogs bladder is more like a little sack and a humans bladder is more like a circle. a frogs bladder is clear and very thin while a humans bladder is very thick and it is not clear.
Free Response: Estefany Morales: For me the main reason that frogs and human have similar body structures is because maybe that have similar ancestors. For example I predict that long time ago humans and frogs we one animal that evolved into two different species. Both frogs and human have similar qualities they are both omnivores and have a lot of similar body systems. These characteristics make me predict that they once had a ancestor that united the two.
Ariana Martinez: For me the main reason that humans and frogs have similar body system is because they are quite similar and also because they may have a ancestry that connects them. I think that long time ago there was this creature that have all of the similar body system that both humans and frogs have.
